Once again in 2011 we designed and produced several print collateral pieces for TEDx Houston, from the event programs, to promotional posters, to event badges... we worked to produce consistent branding throughout the event. In this year's event programs we created new infographics, designed from data provided by the audience during the application process. These displayed topics such as "top international desinations hoping to visit" and "areas of the economic development hoping to see improved".
We also created a new game for 2011 in which each attendee was given one of eight unique "hidden gem cards" in their lanyards. As audience members found all eight cards throughout the day, it unlocked a complete list of over 200 hidden gems in Houston. This experiment created another organic way for people to get to know one another and learn about new, inspiring destinations in Houston. View in detail at TEDxHouston.com/2011/HiddenGems
