When Stick Em Up Movie had an early screening at River Oaks Theater in Houston, we created an interactive projection that allowed the audience to share their thoughts on screen before the film started. It also let the audience post up artwork from the artists they were looking forward to seeing. It was a fun way for people to communicate and interact with one another throughout the evening.
Using Twitter to aggregate the information, the audience used the #stickemupmovie hashtag to make their messages searchable. They also used several of the featured artist's names in their messages, which the system used to display their artwork on screen.
This project made #stickemupmovie the second highest trending term in the Houston area. View an archived version of the experience.
